We have seating for up to 23, and can accommodate up to 40 persons in full standing room. If your group is larger than 40, we suggest inquiring with our sister bar, The Monarch Bar, about private events availability for larger groups.
Costs to buy out The Mercury Room for private events vary dramatically, and are based on the requested time, night of the week, and any applicable holidays. For example, a buyout on a Wednesday night from 4pm until 7pm will be much less expensive than a Saturday night from 9pm until 1am. And of course, a New Year's Eve buyout will be the most expensive night of the year. We recommend completing the form according to your first preference, and perhaps consider a more flexible timing alternative as your budget requires.
It depends on the season and the amount of requests we may already have in place. We recommend contacting us with a minimum of at least 3 weeks to inquire about availability and pricing to reserve an event.
Yes! As long as we are notified in advance, accommodating a DJ should be no problem. DJs can connect to our house sound system via XLR. For an additional fee, we can arrange a DJ for your event. Or, we can utilize your streaming playlist, at no additional charge.
The Mercury Room does not have food to order. If you would like to arrange catering, please let us know in advance and we will be happy to coordinate on your behalf.
